anyone want some rear seats?

I brought myself a movano (ex st johns ambulance) to convert into a camper,
I have removed a pair of rescroft seats from the back.
They have integrated seatbelts and buckles and are ready to bolt down to the floor.
these seats are around 600 new iirc (I used to work at a coachbuilders and have fitted these seats before)
anyway, they are surplus to requirements and taking up space.
one is a fixed seat, the other has runners so can move back and forward.
£75 each, collection preferred as they...

anyone want some rear seats?

In the dark!!!! No interior lights

Hello

First ever post. Hope everyone is well.

All 3 of my interior lights in the vivaro have suddenly stopped working.

changed the fuse(think it's the correct one?) = no joy
changed the bulb (which had deffo gone in the cab) = no joy

any idea peeps??? :)

Turbo/exhaust broke

Hi all,

My turbo is whistling away, exhaust is blowing and fumes are getting into the cab. Looked through the r/h/f wheel arch and the turbo housing linked to the first section of exhaust (there's a small brkt linked from the housing to the block on it) has split along one of the welds. Anyone changed this component on the turbo? Thought I'd get heads up before I tackle this one, looks like a headache!

1.9 Oil leak

As some of you may be aware I put a second hand laguna engine in my van a few months back, its always had quite a heavy oil leak coming from somewhere down the back of the engine and making a mess of my drive! it seems to lose about 1/2 a litre a month but i do about 40k miles a year

Ive planned tomorrow off work to get this sorted but I'm looking for some likely places it could be coming from to try to avoid spending all day on it!

I took the rocker cover off a couple of weeks back and it...

hi all,

I'm currently looking to sell my car and buy a van.

I do a bit of off road motorbike riding so want a van for this and I'm also looking to use it as a weekend van.

I will mainly be doing motorway miles (70 miles per day). What mpg should I expect from an unloaded vivaro at 70-75mph??

Starting issue

Hi guys, i wonder if anyone can offer me some advice please?

Sometimes when i start my Vivaro there seems to be a delay between turning the key and the engine spinning over....a few days ago it wouldnt turn over at all, ended up having to bump start it on a hill.

has anyone had any experience of this fault and able to offer any advice on the problem and how to rectify it?

any help or advice is much appreciated.
PS i have the 2003 1.9dti with about 87k miles

Anchor Points for tie downs

Hi all - new to forum. Has anyone any advice on, or experience of, fitting new anchor points? These would be for used for tie downs to secure motor bikes. Wondering about the best places to put them. I bought some which seem to have self tapping bolts with them so I'm assuming they would bolt into the chassis. Ant help gratefully received!

weird tinny engine rattle.

since changing the clutch ive acquired this weird tinny scraping engine rattle at 1800-2500 revs.
thought it may be the alternator ,changed it today and its still the same.
sometimes when it gets particularly bad the stop light flashes and the battery light comes on.
(hence the alternator change).
took the drive belt off and ran the engine and it didnt happen.
oh and pressing the clutch or selecting gears doesnt make any difference.

Sportive armrest..

The armrest to the drivers seat on a sportive has issues staying up, seems the ratchet has worm.

Is it possible to replace the ratchet or is it a new armrest or even a new seat..?

I've fitted osram nightbreaker unlimited bulbs and they are superb. Very highly recommended.

double din sat nav /dvd head unit

Hi All

i have just fitted a double din head unit (ebay special) any one know how to connect up the steering wheel control or if its possible does anyone have the wiring code for the yellow multi plug ?

I have a 54 plate Renault trafic that started life as a van and has been converted to a day van / camper and this head unit change is one of the final pieces in the jigsaw

Ciao,
I would like to remove the part of the air convoglimento hidden by plastic bulkhead located in the right rear of my vivaro L2.
I need to earn cargo space.
It is technically possible? It would also compromise the smooth operation of the air conditioning front?

Injector fault

Hello
Thanks for the info on the satnav all sorted now ,had my ipad jailbreaked so now got a massive satnav
New issue with the van when I put my foot down hard the van shoots of but when it gets to about 80 mph there's a jolt then everything dies and a warning light comes on the dash saying injector fault .
If I turn the van off and on it goes away and everything is ok
Anybody had this happen to them

Press down clutch pedal and i get a rattling noise

Today i started the van and the radio searched for a station, while it was doing it i put the clutch pedal down to change into reverse and i heard a rather loud rattling

when i press down the pedal, as it gets to the bottom it rattles for the last about 1/4

i spoke to a mechanic friend and he said sounds like the DMF ( now upon research the 2700 1.9 doesnt have a DMF

any idea's ?? ? ?

I have the droopy visor problem. No matter where I put it- it flops down and damn irritating while driving.
Is there an easy fix or is a new visor required ?

Windshield washer pump problem

Recently the rear windshield washers stopped working, but what's interesting, that when I activate the rear washers, the front ones stream water out instead, but far from as powerfully as when I send water to the front jets intentionally.

Today I removed the rubber tubes from both rear washer jets, cleaned the jets, also checked whether water comes out on any of the tubes, no water came out on the rear tubes, only on the front ones, weakly.

It smells like the problem is in the common rear...
