Who's fitted seats in the back? Let's see them please!

Hi Guys,

Good news! The wife is preggers again, she'd due in December.

So that leaves me with a van with just 3 seats, and a family of 4. I like the look of the factory conversion, but I need to be able to remove the seats, or at least fold them down out the way.

What have you fitted, or seen fitted? There are so many on ebay, I'm getting a little confused.

Cheers

Paolo

Has anyone ever seen this happen before?

My van broke down doing around 50mph on the motorway a couple of weeks back, the crankshaft pulley had sheared the key off but only moved slightly out of position.
I couldnt get the crankshaft to turn at all in either direction, upon removal of the sump i can see that crankshaft has snapped at the gearbox end and jammed itself against the side of the block.

There doesnt look to be any further damage so do you think i could get away with just getting...

Hi Guys

Need a little help, when starting my van up from cold after a few minutes it starts to squeal very loud, comes and go's for a few minutes then nothing all day, ?
I replaced the alternator and belt about 18mths ago so probably not the bearing on that, cant seem to pin point it.
When the tension wheel bearing is worn would it sound like this, its defiantly on the off side of the engine

Well I thought it was too good to be true..... Just did a 300 mile round trip in the Trafic, apart from the black smoke every now and then it started struggling when I got to a slight incline on M25. Thought nothing of it as I was going to clean the MAF and the EGR when I got back. 2 miles from my house I got the STOP and oil light up on the dash.
Just looked under the bonnet and it looks like someone has just poured oil everywhere!!
I will go and take a pic and upload it.

Hi guys
First of all I've been loitering on here for a while and have found a lot of posts and threads really helpful.

I've got an 04 Vivaro 1.9 Dti which has just ticked over onto 180k, it runs an absolute dream, nobody who has driven it can believe its done the mileage it has. I've had the van a little under 12 months and haven't done much with it so far but I'm planning on moving to aus sometime around christmas and will be selling the van, that coupled with me having just sorted out the...

Hi,

New here...just installing a powered fan in my 06, swb, 1.9 vivaro.

I need to earth the switch I am installing in the cab/dashboard. I can't seem to find an earthing point in the cab/dashboard? Any ideas? I expected to find a batch of wires earthed to the body somewhere I can access from the dashboard/fuse box/glovebox/radio location!

Any help would be welcome!

cheers

I posted a whole ago regarding my doors not shutting properly but I still appear to be having more problems now.

My rear door passenger side is not closing properly locking onto the top door latch unless I give it a bit of a push once this is done unfortunately I am then unable to open from the outside I have to climb thru from the side door to open from inside but sometimes that can take a few times to pull the handle to make the door open. I am not sure what i need to change on this if it is...

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a garage in Ayrshire, preferably Kilmarnock that knows what they are doing with a Vivaro.

I'm starting to have an intermittent misfire and worried about injectors etc. Don't want to take it to a garage that might do more harm than good!!

Cheers,

Kenny

Evening guys,
I've seen a few astra sport vans recently that have been modified, ie: lowered, alloys, new grilles etc. And they look proper tasty.

Is there anything available for the vivaro along these lines?
Grilles?
Headlight upgrades? Hids? Or black surrounds?
Brakes? They have discs all round, can you get bigger or better pads etc?

I just want it to stand out a bit from the growing masses that seem to be on the road.

Anyone have pics of their vivaros with a few mods?
