Rear Step Clips

Anybody on here know where to find replacement clips for the rear step/threshold?

We had to destroy ours to get the threshold out as the screws were all rusted to hell and now need to replace the clips. They're the plastic cup-like things that push into the bed of the van, which the screws go into.

Thanks

Chris

Rev Limiter

Does anyone know if its standard for a 2.0 cdti to have a rev limiter when idle?
I only come across it by accident as I was in the van and just wanted to rev the engine like a kid lol.

When its idling and sat still everytime i put my foot to the floor, it hits about 2800 rpm and the needle stays still. It hits the exact same rpm each time i do it without fail. However when driving and in gear etc I can rev well past this range without any hesitation or running problems at all, and doesnt seem...

Mods-performance/styling?

Evening guys,
I've seen a few astra sport vans recently that have been modified, ie: lowered, alloys, new grilles etc. And they look proper tasty.

Is there anything available for the vivaro along these lines?
Grilles?
Headlight upgrades? Hids? Or black surrounds?
Brakes? They have discs all round, can you get bigger or better pads etc?

I just want it to stand out a bit from the growing masses that seem to be on the road.

Anyone have pics of their vivaros with a few mods?

Dipped beam problem

Hi guys, my dipped beam has stopped working in my 2005 vivaro 2.5. Side lights and high beam are fine. I've replaced the bulbs but still no good. I've checked all the fuses behind the cup holder but they're all fine (now the radio is in safe mode :( too but that's no problem)

Any info on this would be great, thanks in advance.

in line fuel filters

Has anyone installed an extra in line fuel filter? I have had some issues with loss of power with instant pick up. No fault codes. Have read that the pump can be the weak link. If you have, what filters did you use. There seem to be so many.
Cheers

well i have to say i have done around 500 trouble free miles in the fully rebuilt movano zd30 and all was going rather well until 3 days ago when we almost left the road via a hedge. Brake failure usually unwelcome and always a surprise, the pedal was extremely hard to push and had very little affect at all. Pulled the vacuum pipe from the servo and no vacuum at all, we had a slow drive home.

had a bit of time today so removed vacuum pump from the front of the engine, pump looked good all...

Hi everyone, my first proper post here so I'm going to jump straight into it.

My vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 CDTI 2010 seems to start after about 5 seconds turning over in the morning, A little bit long still but not too much of an issue in itself. But, the rest of the day, most times it can take in excess of 30 seconds of turning over before it starts.. It does however (So far) allways start, and once it has started it runs lovely, pulls well doesn't miss a beat and no excess smoke either. I'm a bit...

Right guys as promised I replaced my strut top rubbers today as they were sticking through into the engine bay at least an inch,

To be honest its a dead easy job much easier getting the strut off the van than one off a car and took me around 20mins a side to do so here we go

Oh and before I forget key part of this job is a 5ft bit of scafolding pole ( we will get to that later )

So got the parts...

Hi all, i have a Renault Master 2.2dci 2002 (same as movano) and it has developed a starting problem. Bit of a list but should help towards diagnosis.
A couple of months ago the van became a bit sluggish and cut out throwing up an engine management light on dash. Re-started and it ran for about 200 meters before repeating. Re-started again and it was fine and has been since. I have tried to use my code reader which is just a cheap one but it does not show any codes.
After a couple of weeks...

Hi guys, My names Iain and I'm new to the forum, I'm hoping one or more of you may be able to help with an intermittent problem on my 57 plate 2 litre 2900 lwb 75000 regularly serviced pile of junk.

Right please bare with me this could turn into a bit of an essay,

Sometimes when I start up and drive the van feels under powered, as in have to change down a gear to pull up hills compared to when it's driving well, and generally have to give it more accelerator pedal than normal when driving my...

hey guys,

been reading around trying to find my answer but having no joy.

i've seen threads on how to check gearbox oil in a vivaro and yet nothing seems to tally with the box on my van.

i can find the plastic fill level hole, but mine is on the side nearest to the wheel of the gearbox rather than the front.

a bit of a back story, a month after we bought the van the gearbox failed and we has a refurb fitted, i'm pretty sure when i checked where the plastic fill level hole was it was on the...

Non starter and poor running

Had a 2004 1.9 Vivaro in work for almost 4 weeks. Came in with poor starting and running. Wouldn’t start without easy start and wouldn’t rev over 2,500 or go over 20 mph. Battery was also very weak so was left charging on and off for most of the job.

Plugged diag in and got 1 injector code as well as numerous random codes. Cleared codes and injector fault came back on. Checked all injector related fuses and relays and all were ok. Checked fuel supply on cranking at fuel pump, fuel rail, and...
