Engine mounts --- FIXED !!!

Hi all I have a 2002 Vivaro Sport. When accelerating or braking sharply there is a heavy clunk, I've checked tonight with another set of eyes and there seems to be lots of play in the engine.
Handbrake on reverse gear and a sharp jerk back the movement of the engine is outrageous.
Now I've looked on several sites who supply parts but cant find the one I need.
Any ideas of part number or actual name ?

Fuse for interior lights and radio display keeps blowing

My 15 amp fuse in the end of the dash keeps blowing
It's the fuse 2 down on the far right as you look at the box

This controls the interior lights and the display in the dash for the radio frequency and temperature outside and time ect ( also stops radio working )

Soon as I repkace the fuse and drive off any slight bump and the fuse blows

I've disconnected all the interior lights still blows

I've disconnected the dash screen and radio and wiggled all the loom and still blows

All...

Windshield washer pump problem

Recently the rear windshield washers stopped working, but what's interesting, that when I activate the rear washers, the front ones stream water out instead, but far from as powerfully as when I send water to the front jets intentionally.

Today I removed the rubber tubes from both rear washer jets, cleaned the jets, also checked whether water comes out on any of the tubes, no water came out on the rear tubes, only on the front ones, weakly.

It smells like the problem is in the common rear...

Broken Vivaro rear door handle.

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anybody knows the best way to remove the rear door handle, from the outside only. When I pull on the handle, the door doesn't open so I can only guess it has delatched from the locking mechanism. As my Vivaro is crew cabbed with no side door, I have no access to the inside (of the load area). Just wondered if there was any advice before I go ripping off the handle! >:[

Hi all, my vivaro which I have had for 4 years has been getting progressively worse with electrical faults and poor running, it wouldnt rev on start up, go into no revs sometimes, other times ran like it was on kangaroo juice with the fuel system /electrical fault flashing.
On the diagnostic it said , faulty throttle sensor, I replaced that, I also replaced the fuel filter assembly.
After reading on here I have cleaned the Multi plug in the bottom of the fuse box under the coolant tank, didnt...

Problems solved by cleaning multi plug,

Oil flashing in mileage display window on start up and spanner light illuminated

Hi , I'm hoping someone can give me some advice here,
I bought an 11 plate vauxhall vivaro several weeks ago, last week a warning message started being displayed on start up saying OIL in mileage window and the orange spanner light illuminated. On next van start up it was fine but then it returned.
I then had the van serviced with full oil change and filters etc last week and all was fine.
The same problem as now restarted, orange spanner light on all time and oil flashing in display window on...

Hi, know next to nothing about engines - bought a vivaro 58 plate, 60,000 miles full service history etc - recently developed a fault where it would cut out whilst driving without warning. Mechanic looked at it, diagnostics pointed towards ECU, sent ECU off etc. Seemed to sort out the problem until today. Turns over ok, then cuts out straight away.... HELP!!!!!!

iv got x5 wheels on my van and thinking of getting shot of them and going for something different...

19" 9j front 10j rear...

Wheels are in great condition one rear wheel has a small kerb mark from the misses poor reversing skills...

Tyres have done 2000mile, 215/30/19 load rated tyres...

What do you think they are worth guys ??

Rear disc brakes: Standard?

I whipped the wheels off my Movano the other day to change the tyres, and was quite surprised to find it had discs rather than drums on the rear, I'd possibly expect it on a car of that year, but not a commercial!

Is it standard, aftermarket, or optional extra?

It's a 2004 (54) Movano 3300.

i just joined today after lurking n watching for a few visits and i have started modding my van
and after looking at the cracking top jobs some of you guys are doing thought id ask my daft questions and see where it leads

Odd engine noise?

Hi Guys, while driving today for 4 hours and the boy asleep in the van I got to listening to the nice sound of the engine on the M4. I noticed something quite odd.

I should add there is NOTHING wrong with my engine and the drive is still sweet.

I noticed that at a certain range of throttle, about 1" down, the engine sounds different. It doesn't matter how many revs I'm doing, but if I have my foot on the gas at the point, it sounds like an old fashion diesel. If I press a little past it the...

Ex AA Van Problems!!!

Hey all, new to this forum. Just bought an ex AA 07 2.0L Vivaro and there are a couple of things I'de like to clear up.

I'm mainly aiming this topic at people who have owned ex AA Vivaros or people who are considering buying one of a similar year.


So things I have noticed so far.

There are small holes in my passenger airbag cover, not too much of a problem as I may wrap it anyway.

There is no passenger airbag. Slightly annoying as it constantly leaves my engine management light on.

Hi,

I'm wanting to change the brakes on my 2011 Renault Trafic as they were an advisory noted at the last MOT and I had the rear near side brake stick on yesterday and in the cold morning the brake was steaming

I went to my local parts place today and they quoted about £180 to supply and fit new discs and pads all round.

Firstly is this a good price for these or should I shop around for a better price.

The discs were of OEM standard and the pads were made by Pagid if I remember...

Hi guys,
I want to fit a cruise control system to my 2012 2.0 tdci vivaro. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to go to a auto electrican.? If I can fit myself where is the best place to buy the control stick, clutch switch and software to activate on ecu etc...If someone has done this before can let me know if it was a success or not...any information would be much appreciated...thanks guys.

Ok, so we know these vans have issues with injectors. But do they just pack up or is it they get clogged/dirty. Would regular use of injector cleaner additive be of benefit..

Boost pressure solenoid ???

hi guys,

should there be any pipes/tubes attached to the tube bits at the bottom of the boost pressure solenoid ? mine dont have anything attached to them,i was wondering if this is why my turbo isnt working ?

it seems odd that they have nothing attached to them cos they look like something should go on there :confused:

any help would be much appreciated (y)...

Buzzzzzing Noise?

Hi to all,

I have discovered that when I put my lights on main beam there is a loud "Buzzing" noise coming from what I think is the fuse box. On further examination I have also noticed there must have been a fire of some description prior to purchase as the back of the fuse box cover has melted. I feel a right $%&* because I have not noticed it before.
The big blue din connection also shows signs of fire damage, although minimal.

Once again guys your help will more than appreciated.
