Help my floor is saturated under the passenger footwell rubber mats ...any ideas as to where leaks in this area might come from?

Aftermarket Stereo adapter harness questions
Hi, has anyone fitted an aftermarket stereo? I've fitted one and with the wiring adapter supplied there is no swithced live, i assume this is on the plug with that connects to the remote steering wheel stalk. Also the time on the original lcd can't be adjusted. Does anyone know if buying an auto leads or connects2 stalk adapter will solve these issues? I don't mind buying one if it solves these issues but if it doesn't then i'll just cut and join the wires and live with the display being wrong.

Engine cuts out when warm and will not restart
Have a Vivaro 2.0 CTDi 2009 that cuts out soon as it warms up, have been able to read out the fault codes and have DF052 injector control circuit, DF891 Group 1 injector feed and DF892 Group 2 Injector Feed, my first thoughts were a wiring fault of some description however have been told that these codes can also indicate faulty injectors, it is a consistant fault in that it will start from cold, run fine until it warms up then it will give a small cough then shortly after that it stops...

Water Ingress help?

Before I move on my old 2003 1.9Di, I've noticed that after the heavy rain we had yesterday the drivers seatbelt is soaking wet (just my luck!). I've checked the drainage channels and nothing appears to be blocked. There hasn't been any sound of water pooling anywhere either. Any suggestions?

Power steering pipe part number.
Hi guys,
My power steering pump high pressure pipe has worn through on the right angle bend beneath the pump, (by the bracket) and I'm looking at replacing it, tried to use som Fixx-it tape as it's supposed to with stand 600 psi but it just ballooned and popped, so pipe it is.
Any help welcome.

Smell of burning plastic and grinding noise
hi all my 2006 vivaro 114000 miles has just been making a horrible noise from the front and earlier there was a smell of burning plastic outside. The grinding /rattle seemed like it was coming from driveshaft area although I’m not sure
It seems fine at moment after I turned it off and started it again , any suggestions gratefully received

2014 vivaro "Check stop and start"
Hey,
I was driving over the Woodhead pass yesterday when all of a sudden the van began to lose power and coast to a stop, after which the engine turned itself off. Luckily it was unusually quiet on the road and I managed to safely get it to the side of the road. As it was losing power the dashboard told me to "Check Stop and Start". I went to put my hazard triangle out and came back to the van to see if it would start it just fired up back to life like there was no problem, but the dash...

Cutting Out/service light
HELP PLEASE...
Hi all I bought the van a few weeks ago 2.0 2009 86000 miles..
Van wouldn’t start turned out loose negative terminal since then service light/airbag light won’t reset go off now it’s cutting out have to stop it restarts fine but when I accelerate or drop a gear and put power on it cuts out (not good on the M25)
I have cleaned the fuses on top of the battery when it is running there is power the van side of fuses BUT when I plug into obd there is no power I have tried 2...

Random Cable - Help Needed
Just found this cable hanging from under the front bumper. It's quite long and is coming from deep inside the engine bay. Scooted underneath and had a look from the top but there was nothing obvious as to where it would go.
Anybody recognise it and what it should connect to?

Slave cylinder identification ?
Hi all - how do I know which type of clutch kit I need, does it have to be stripped down to find out ?
Story so far - I changed the master cylinder, bled with a syringe and got pressure back to pedal![(y)]( "Thumbs Up (y)")
not for long![(n)]( "Thumbs Down (n)")
Bled again hoping it was air in the system, again after getting pressure back on pedal it didn't last long.
dropped engine undertray and found where the new fluid was going![:cry:]( "Crying :cry:")
So rang a local garage and was given an estimate depending on what type of clutch was fitted,...

Speedometer not working after clutch change
Afternoon all, I've just got the van back from the garage after a well needed clutch change and now she is a dream to drive.... So much so that I didn't even notice the speedo not working... Duh
Now after all the clean up work I did with the service and this, she doesn't suffer from any rev dropping at junctions and no juddering at all.... Perfect.
Is this possibly just the speed sensor needed reconnecting or replacing. Garage is now closed but thought some of you may know the issue.

Vivaro 2006 alternative seats up front
Hi all just purchased 2006 Vivaro sportive dayvan, wondered if anyone could advice on a good alternative to the standard bench seat, like the idea of keeping the 2 seats up front but wanted something that was more comfortable possibly reclines and bolts in with no issues. Or the other option swapping it out for a single how easy is it and can it be done without drilling holes and have mounts made specially. Appreciate any advice cheers.

Cant Get Reverse Gear

so over the last month or so reverse has been a bit stiff to engage, went our yesterday and I couldnt get it at all, all other gears are fine but thats no good when i need to reverse out of my parking space lol
so any ideas? im assuming as all the rest are ok the linkage is ok, maybe needing greased? not sure where i should be greasing.
any help appreciated

Door handle damage
When I bought my van it had already been broken into and had a damaged rear door (barn type) handle and the metal inside was weak.. I had a look at it yesterday I undid the top nut and put a peice of joist strap bar (basicaly 100mm x 30mm x 5mm steel with a 6mm hole in it) over the stud and put the nut back on.. It is now solid and was a real easy fix.. I thought I would pass it on.

Drivers lower dash
Hello anyone had to remove the lower dash on the drivers side? Need to get in to see the clutch master cylinder, I think its called that anyways. Its clicking. Had me hand round for a feel, looks like whatever holds the pedal to the piston rod has came off or snapped. Guessing its a split pin or r clip????? Any help appreciated

Turbo replacement.
Could anyone give me some guidance in replacing my turbo my 2008 Movano 2.5 G9U650 engine, I noticed oil coming from the intercooler pipe from the turbo, theres a small amount of oil in there , looks like the turbo seals have started to go, 98k miles on the engine, just wondered if its doable in situ? Ive not got a pit so itll be done on the drive with it jacked up if needed. Dont want to start changing it until I have more info, rang round for all the parts plus turbo rebuild all thats...

Movano sills
Hi do anyone know were I can buy
New sills for my movano 2001 I have looked everywhere but the only place
I can find a supplier is in Europe and
They will not fit because everything is on the wrong side because they are left hand drive the sliding door is on the passenger side in the uk but on the over side in Europe

Check Injector System Message
First time posting here so hopefully you can help.
I have a Vivaro 2015 BiTurbo 1.6 that has randomly started to display a "Check Injector System" message.
I have searched for this error both through Google and on this forum but have not been able to locate any information as to what causes this message and how to rectify it.
