Can anyone help with this ! vivaro 06 1.9 ...the temperature gauge flickers up and done and somtimes down to zero ..the engine runs rough at idle and there is a lack of power
I was thinking the coolant sensor which is then messing up fuel mix/delivery
I don't have any idea where the sensor is located but have had a price of £20.00 + vat from local dealer for the part

any ideas anyone

hi,

Im a newbie here to this great forum !!

Got an issue with the fuel gauge as in approximate miles left, mine went off showing 60 miles left and the fuel light has come and now the display on the dash is showing a series of lines.

Could somebody please confirm is this is correct or is something a drift ?

hi all
I have had the day from hell! Friday my clutch went on my 2007 vivaro I had the clutch and two new tyres fitted at the same time
Upon picking the van up today getting the van up to around 40mph the van starts to shake and wobble I took it straight back to the garage and he said it was a drive shaft on the near side so on he got with that a few hours later I picked the van back up only to find the problem is still there now he says the bearings in the gear box are on the way out!! And...

I'm a wheelchair user and struggle to lift myself into the cab, does anyone know if I'd be able to fit grab handles onto the A pillar?

Hi everybody
I was changing my glow plugs and I snapped the plug of in the first cylinder. It didn't even turn just snapped flush. Was wondering what I can do without removing the head and paying 100's to get it fixed.The problem is the first glowplug goes in at an angle which is going to make it more difficult. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just bought a 2005 Vivaro Sportive, 1870cc engine, 187k miles, FSH.

Drove it home 135 miles no problem on sunday.

Started it again Sunday evening and tonight, Wednesday, and its definitely a bit of a lumpy starter!

Turn the key, let lights go out, and turn it over. It starts but is really lumpy - as if running on two cylinders, or even three. It won't respond to throttle. It then dies.

Turn again, lumpy, then almost remembers that it needs to run (!!) and then after about 5 seconds will...

hi all

forgive me new member

just brought 2005 vivaro 1.9cdti

i have no power in low gears if i can get it upto 3000 revs it wants to take off, noT all the time though its has had new boost pressure sensor and map sensor
fault codes that was in system:
low input track two app and clutch switch
as i have said its not all the time but more not working than workin

noticed have no speedo is this in gear box or runs of abs unit if i tap the cluster the needle jumps up and back down again...

Hi all,

I have a business model trafic, and can't seem to activate R.A.I.D, the auto locking when driving off. The manual says to hold lock button with ignition on for 5 seconds until it beeps. It never beeps.

Should this work in my van?

Evening

So I finally got my gearbox sorted. Excellent place in Mirfield.
Next job is to get rid of the speed limiter, 68 is annoying when trying to overtake!
I've been quoted £100 just to remove the speed limiter or £175 for a remap by a reputable company. Weighing up the positives and negatives of the remap and wanted some advice/opinions. The van is used for work and carries my tools, I wont be hammering it, I don't have much of a lead foot and want to get as many miles out of the van as...

Hi congrats on a great forum, has helped me loads with my trafic dci 2.0.

My problem is this.... I had a replacement engine from a 09 Laguna put into my van after injector getting stuck and snapping , the clutch was pooped as well so I Just cut my losses.... or so I thought. (Have had to replace an injector on the new one too). The oil separator that is on the top of the engine had no breather pipe when I got my van back , and after buying one and connecting it to the pipe on the turbo...

Guys
Heading off to the south of France for a bit of cycling this summer. Got use of a 14 plate Vivaro.
Assuming its a basic model (hired van) What are my music options? Will it have a "aux" plug? any form connectivity?

Hi All

The passenger side electric window on my 2005 Vivaro has stopped working. For the last month its been hit & miss, and now its totally stopped working!

This morning I've taken the door panel/trim off to get to the window motor. I took the motor off the window regulator to test it and it will only spin in one direction! when pressing the switch. Tested the motor with a direct 12v supply and reversed the polarity and the motor did spin in both directions.

Hi All

On my Vivaro 05 the heater blower was only working on settings 3 & 4 for the last few weeks. Since this morning it is only working on setting 4. I've read in another thread something about moisture in the pollen filter and also about the resistor? Is it likely to be one of these two or is the motor on its way out? MOT due so need to get it sorted.

Any thoughts or probable solutions would be appreciated!

Good afternoon
I have a vivaro on a 53 plate ,at the weekend my keyfob has stopped operating the central locking & alarm ,I have 2 key fobs & they both use to work perfect but now none of them work it won't lock or set alarm I have to lock it manually via key lock or via the lock button on dash ,but alarm is not set,has any 1 got any ideas what the issue can be ??,thanks Glyn

Hi I am new to this forum. But really I need some help with getting a new set of keys, because I lost our set and the old man I going mad.
I race karts and I use this van to get to national events. Our next event is less than 2 weeks away. I serriously need help.
The Van is a Vauxhall Vivaro I am unsure where to go to the new key.
Any suggestions would be very very helpfull.

just converted my windows to electric , bought a full used kit ,only problem is passenger side is fine,
but drivers side is not working , motor ok fuse's ok switch ok . relay ok . any ideas ??

my alternator died the other week and i ordered a replacement and when it arrived it was slightly damaged due to inadequate packaging. I thought i'd put the part in anyway but it wouldn't fit.. The alternator wouldn't fit over the area for the bolts to go through, i was like a few mm too short. I sent it back and got another replacement which fitted fine but when starting the engine the alternator wasn't charging the battery. I found one from a local dealer and collected it today and...
