Dashboard display not working
hi all, my husband bought a vivaro this week and changed a bulb in the heater control today, something went pop and power has gone from the dashboard! Any ideas how to fix this?

Strange noise Vivaro 2011
Hi I just bought a Vivaro 2011. Runs great. But yesterday I left it running a while on my yard an all of a sudden this noise came. It sounds like an electric motor reving from underneath the car. It is not coming from the engine at all...
It doesnt stop if you throlle or do anything. It just stops by itself. Here is a video a shot just efter I left from my yard.
Another strange thing is that the lights in the celing flash 3 times while the " eletricmotor"...

Excessive wind noise in the cab
I have another Vivaro, 2007 SWB.
This one suffers from a lots of wind noise... variable around 30mph but constant when at motorway speeds.
I've taken down the roof lining to try to feel any air coming in, gently pressed on the windows while driving along. I have even tried a foam draft strip around the doors, but I am having no success.
Could there be a seal breach of some kind around the windscreen?
Has anyone else suffered something similar?
I've tried turning up the radio, but I can...

vivaro stalling when warm
hi guys, i have a old vivaro thats given me a few issues to say the least. the latest one is it has started stalling when warm. it starts first time no problem, if i leave it ticking over it stalls after about ten min then wont start again. the glow plug heater light doesnt come on at this point. if i leave it for say ten min to cool down, the glow plug light comes back on and it starts fine but will stall again after a few min. it behaves exactly the same whilst driving. any ideas guys?

Weird starting/electrical issue this morning, all- anyone have any ideas?
Van is a 2010 2.0DCi. No known faults.
Anyway, it started and ran this morning first thing with no issue. I got back home, realised I had switched the engine off about 2 feet too far down my driveway from where I should be. So I went to start it again, and didn't realise I was in 2nd gear.
The van instantly made a loud click/snap sound, all the dash digital displays disappeared, and a strange stuttering high-pitched...

which coolant? lime green or red
noticed my coolant level was on the min mark.....bought some coolant from vauxhall dealer which was red - the coolant in the reservoir is a lime green colour....I thought you weren't supposed to mix them?

2010 vivaro new head
Have broken chain so getting new head but every where that sells the recon heads don't supply the rocker cover with them but everyone says the rocker cover is matched to one paticula head so what I do about that then

Vivaro 2011 broken timing chain
Does anyone know what damage would of been caused as my timing chain snapped yesterday have googled it and a few people recon it don't bent valves but snapped the rockers how could I tell without taking the head off if valves are damaged

Ex AA Van Problems!!!
Hey all, new to this forum. Just bought an ex AA 07 2.0L Vivaro and there are a couple of things I'de like to clear up.

So things I have noticed so far.
There are small holes in my passenger airbag cover, not too much of a problem as I may wrap it anyway.

First of all I'd like to say hi to you all I'm in the process of buying a 2003 movano 2.4 cc 3.500kg high top medium panel van a 3 seater service history plus 170.odd thousand on the clock it's a diesel as well my question is this are these vans reliable and what sort of mpg can I expect as I only want it to tow my caravan etc? Annoying squeak
can any body help I'm new on here.
I have a 2007 2.0 cdti vivaro with an annoying sqeaking sound I think It's coming from the stretch bar that attaches to the sub frame is there any reason this should start making a noise?
Is there supposed to be any rubber bushing Inbetween? If not how can I stop the noise
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Changing Rear Pads
I started to do what I assumed to be a very simple and straightforward task earlier; rear pads on my 2004 Vauxhall Movano van.
I'm used to older vehicles, nothing newer than mid 1990's. So the concept of rear pads and disks is rather alien to me anyway, but I assumed they would be like the average front set-up.
Anyway, I jacked it up and got the wheel off. I went to unbolt the caliper from the carrier, and firstly noticed they were tiny bolts (12mm), I thought its a bit strange, but 'meh',...

Mods-performance/styling?
Evening guys,
I've seen a few astra sport vans recently that have been modified, ie: lowered, alloys, new grilles etc. And they look proper tasty.
Is there anything available for the vivaro along these lines?
Grilles?
Headlight upgrades? Hids? Or black surrounds?
Brakes? They have discs all round, can you get bigger or better pads etc?
I just want it to stand out a bit from the growing masses that seem to be on the road.
Anyone have pics of their vivaros with a few mods?

Bluetooth issues with 2015 Vivaro Sportive
Hi,
Just bought a new 2015 vivaro sportive bi-turbo 2700 120ps.
Having a few issues with the bluetooth telephone on the cd/dab/fm/mw radio media unit,
Didn't go for the sat nav version.
Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem?
My bluetooth connection to my iphone6 intermittently keeps failing,
then i can't reconnect unless i forget this device "MY CAR" on my phone and then repair.
It happens nearly every day, but it can be fine for long periods of time,
not sure whats going on? or...

concentric slave cylinder problems
Hi, I have a vivaro (2008 - 2.0 cdti with the M9R 780 engine code). The concentric slave cylinder has gone in the gear box and I’m having a hard time getting the right one for it as there’s a 2 bolt one or a 3 bolt one and none of the motor factors can tell me which one is the right one for it. So phoned the dealers and they weren’t sure ether ?? Anyone on here have a clue as to what one I need.

Vibration/slight wheel wobble
Hi guys,
Had my 2011 ex AA trafic nearly a month, it's been in to several garages to have this fault identified and everyone is left scratching their heads.
Between 45-60 mph under acceleration there is a SLIGHT wobble which can be felt both through the wheel and the van in general but it goes away at 55/60 ish.
This isn't causing me too much bother but I am just concerned there might be a bigger issue lurking ahead.
The dealer I bough the van off are being really good about it but are...

vivaro smoking when cold
I've finally got my 2009 vivaro fixed and on the road. Did 50ish miles since the mot on the used engine I fitted, all short journeys.
I started it today to go out and there was lots of white smoke (not steam) coming from the exhaust, it cleared up after a couple of minutes.
Has anyone else had this problem? It did sound different when starting it, like it was struggling to crank over. It was fine for the rest of the day when it was warm, started and stopped several times.
