Hi ive got a 56 plate 1.9 vivaro that's been getting harder and harder to start and now won't fire up at all. Changed the glow plugs still won't start,had a diagnostic test and the van has no fault codes. It will fire up straight away with a quick squirt of easy start in the air box and then it will run all day no problem! any ideas?

Opened Up Blue Connector, Now The Glow Plug Light Is On + Limp Mode

New about the throttle issues with my Vivaro when i bought it, but it was intermittent. Sometimes i'd have no throttle response at all but then a few times of turning it off and on again got it going like it should.

Heater fan dead, no power to the fan.
Hi there. I'm new here and from Sweden. Hope you understand my English ![;)]( "Wink ;)")
Have a 2010 Ranault Trafic with electronic climate control. Not the one with 0-4 nob. The thing is that my heater fan don't work. Took the fan out and connected the battery directly to the fan and it's working fine.
Checked all the fuses and all seems good to me.
Any ideas what the problem could be? Could it be the resistor? What I have read on this forum with other members that had similar problems say that it still...

Not boosting?
hi guys I have a 2002 vivaro.
I have an intermittent problem with a lack of power and not revving over about 2k. Basically happens when I'm poodling along at low revs then try to accelerate, just won't rev over 2250ish rpm. Sometimes dropping a gear clears it and you hear the turbo etc but sometimes I have to come to a stop before I can go up through the Rev range again.
Anyone familiar with this problem or know what it could be? Thanks.

vivaro 1.9 limpmode on then off
Hi I'm getting very annoyed with this van! Can someone please help first off is the van is stationary the revs will not go higher than 4000 and while I'm driving first stays between 2500-3000 for a while before I can get past that then the limp mode light comes on but now when I switch the van off the light goes off can anyone assist me in some sort of way thank you

Apologises if this has been asked a million times before (but I have tried searching).
I am looking to buy a 2011/2012 115bhp SWB Vivaro, I previously owned a Renault Trafic (55 plate) and had the usual issues (gearbox, electrical faults, MAF, etc)
Can someone please confirm if these issues still exist with a 2011/2012 vivaro (or are there new issues?) I have been told it is a different engine and gearbox?

Getting handbrake cable ball in and out of caliper lever
I've almost got my Vivaro rear handbrake cable off, whats the trick to get the cable end ball out of the sprung lever and a new one in?

cargo rail mounting LWB crewcab
Hi all, ive bought a 07 lwb crewcab which already has a ply lined back end, however I want to install a cargo rail horizontally so I can hook bungies and ratchet straps to secure my gear. Where abouts? (how high up& wide) is the area where I can screw onto any bracing behind? And what length of screws? Last thing I want to do is to have screws poking out the body work. Heres a pic of one side, I basically need it to go behind my steps. Thanks

My vans been running great until about 3 weeks when from cold it wouldn't rev until warm then would drive spot on for the rest of the day
I looked on here and decided to clean maf and EGR and see how it behaves
It's still the same from cold until this week when in first startup it will run for about 5 second cut out, I restart runs for another 5 seconds then third time will run but unable to Rev until warm. It seems to take longer for the "no revs" fault to clear as it seems to be...

Does My Van Have A DPF
Hi All,
Does anyone know if a 57 plate Nissan Primastar 2.0 tdci 115 have a DPF fitted or not, or does it not make any difference besides the price when buying oil.
Getting all the service parts on order from ECP but there's 3 different types of the triple QX oil or do you have recommendations on which to get not really too fussed on price as don't really do that high mileage any more.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all
Just had the missus mini remapped and what a difference it has made to the drive of the car. now I was thinking of getting my vivaro done it's a 53plate 1.9di 80 bhp model its pretty slow, now especially I've got the units in and rock and roll bed in(the is home made so a bit on the heavy side lol).
I've spoken to the guy who done the mini and he said it will take it to 103bhp.
The question I would like to ask is, am I right in thinking the 80 bhp and 100bhp engines are identical and...

I recently purchased a 2010 van and need to change the courtesy light in the rear to a LED light which is much brighter.
I have removed the old lamp unit and am trying to wire up a new Led light.
The old unit has 3 wires: red/blue, black/blue, white/red

I'm somewhat stimyed here!
Washed my engine down for “The Test”, 2007 Vivaro 2.5
Engine ran very poorly after that for two days and then back to normal.
I've had the Glow Plug & Management Light on for some time with codes pointing at air-con.
Leaving a mates house Saturday, went over a speed hump, slowly but quite a sharp hump, and engine just stopped!
Engine spinning fine but wont fire-up.
I'm thinking that that some water may have got into a...
